Welcome! My name is Ruth Forman. I have studied art crafts, floral design, Interior Decoration, Garden Design, at private art institutes as well as at the School of Fine Arts in my native country, Costa Rica. In 1996, I moved to Michigan with my husband Terry and our son German. Once in Michigan, I continued furthering my training and teaching at various places.
In 2002, I became certified by Donna Dewberry as a "One stroke Certified Instructor." In 2003, I completed 150 hours of intensive decorative painting training under Priscilla Hauser becoming thus a Priscilla Hauser Accredited Teacher. In 2004, I obtained my certification from Decorating Masters Institute as a Professional Faux Finishing. In 2006 I completed in Costa Rica an intensive course of fusing glass. Later, I received further training in the US in lampwork glass beads. Since then, along with painting and this new venture in glass, I design beautiful glass beads as well as my own jewelry.
After working from my home studio giving painting lessons, completing custom orders, and developing my exclusive lines of jewelry and glass beads, I decided to open my own store with the always unconditional help of my husband.
